Associate Teacher – Elementary
Lindsey joined RMA in 2022. She assists in the Montessori Elementary Program. Lindsey is in her second year of Montessori Elementary Training at the Montessori Institute in Denver and will graduate in the spring of 2024. Previously, Lindsey taught high school math in Vermont, PE, and afterschool for K-6 at a Montessori school in Boston, and math and reading intervention at a public middle school for grades 5-8 in New Hampshire. Lindsey has my BA in English literature from Colby College, my MA in American Studies & Literature from LMU Munich, and her Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate from UC Berkeley.
Originally from Vermont, Lindsey has lived in a myriad of places prior to moving to Colorado last year. She loves most anything outdoors and active, particularly hiking, yoga, pilates, and lifting weights. Lindsey cooks a lot and places high value on nutrition and sleep. She loves crafting, particularly with paper, and creates cards to send snail-mail style to friends afar. Lindsey also enjoys reading and exploring, and animals great and small have her heart.
