Terry B. – Director
Terry is a Colorado native whose four daughters started their educational experience in a Montessori classroom. Her oldest teaches middle school in the school she attended.
Terry is American Montessori Society certified in birth to three, AMS administrator certified, and has a master’s degree in Montessori education. She worked as an assistant teacher and lead in both toddler and primary classrooms and as a director in several schools.
Terry loves cooking, sewing, theater, and music. Spending time with family and grandkids is especially rewarding.
Corinna B. – Administrative Assistant
Corinna joined the RMA family in 1998. When she first started with RMA she was the administrative assistant and classroom helper. She recently returned to RMA in 2017 to support the ongoing success of our school. She is excited to be back as part of the RMA family.
In 2020, Corinna became a trained Montessori coach and observer. This skill helps Corinna observe in the classrooms and support the ongoing efforts of RMA’s mission.
Her daughter attended RMA for 3 years and attributes much of her success to Montessori.
Andrea W. – Montessori Primary Teacher – Red Room
Andrea joined the RMA family in October of 2000 and was one of our original kindergarten teachers. She returned to us in 2013 after a six-year hiatus when her family lived in the San Francisco area. She is the Montessori lead teacher in the Red classroom. Andrea’s background includes a B.A. in Elementary Education with a specialization in Kindergarten education from Purdue University in Lafayette, IN. She attended the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies and earned her Montessori certification. She has taught in elementary school and K-2 classrooms.
She lives with her husband and two children. Both children are RMA alumni.
Sonali M. – Montessori Primary Teacher – Yellow Room
Sonali joined the RMA family in 2013. She has taught in a Montessori classroom environment since 2009. She completed her Montessori certification in Dallas, Texas from the American Montessori Society (AMS) in 2011. She has a Masters Degree in Home Economics from India. Ms. Sonali undertook some advanced Math courses to pursue her teaching credentials in California from California State University. Having found her home in Montessori classroom, she enjoys her work with children from 3-6 years of age. Sonali is a firm believer of the Montessori philosophy and has seen it work with her own two kids.
She lives in Parker with her husband and kids.
Kris P. – Montessori Primary Teacher – Blue Room
Kris began her Renaissance Montessori Academy journey in 2017. After spending six years in another Montessori school, she is finally able to work with what she is really passionate about, creativity.
As the Blue Room lead teacher, she helps foster young minds to think in innovative ways. Because of Kris’ over 25 year involvement with children’s art, she knows that art helps children learn better in all disciplines.
Kris’ educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in geography from the University of Calcutta and Montessori training.
In 2020, Kris wanted to expand her Montessori knowledge and started a new training at Great Work Inc, under the direction of Jack Yu.
Kris was born and raised in Kolkata, India, and came to the United States in 1995. She currently lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband and their dog Sparky. Their daughter attends college in California.

Priyanka P. – Primary Co-Teacher
Priyanka comes to the RMA family with a strong passion for being around young children. She enjoys having the opportunity to be part of the early childhood learning process and believes that the RMA philosophy is a good foundation for success. In 2019 she completed her CDA training and is Colorado Early Childhood Lead Teacher Certified.
Ms. Priyanka moved to the U.S. from India after her marriage and has been in Colorado since December of 2000. She currently lives in Parker with her husband and two children. One of her children is an RMA alumni.
Dhara P. – Primary Co-Teacher and Montessori Intern
Dhara was born in Ahmedabad, India. Her maternal family is largely from a teaching background. She completed her master’s degree in commerce with accounting as a primary subject. Before moving to the states in 2008, she was an accountant for three years and a junior kindergarten teacher for a year and a half. After coming to the states, she took a break to take care of her kids, who attended RMA. In 2018 Dhara decided to come back to teaching since she loves working with kids and helping them succeed. In 2019, Dhara completed her CDA and is now certified as a Colorado Early Childhood Teacher. Dhara started her training to become a Montessori Primary Teacher at Great Work Inc, under the direction of Jack Yu in 2020.
When not at work, Dhara enjoys spending time with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters. She loves singing, listening to music., and cooking during her free time.
Lauren O. – Float Teacher
Lauren is one of our float teachers. She is excited to teach and work with your children as part of the RMA team. She has a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science and minored in Elementary Education. In addition she is Group Leader and Director Certified. She has experience working with ages 2 ½ to 5th grade working in a variety of settings. She was a lead teacher of a preschool classroom, Spanish teacher, and a paraprofessional working with all grades in reading, word work, math, and science.
Prior to joining the RMA team in April 2019, Lauren stayed home with her daughter. She looks forward to getting to know you all and working with your wonderful children.
Bansari T. – Teaching Assistant and Float
Bansari joined RMA in August 2020 as an Assistant Teacher in the After School program and also works with all of our classrooms as a floater. She has completed her Masters in Computer Applications and worked as Software Engineer for 4 years in India. Being a mother of a 3 year old, she researched about child learning methods and developmental needs in Montessori way before joining the school as an assistant teacher.
After joining this school and working with children, she strongly feels that Montessori is the best way to open a child’s learning capacity and increase their skills in this early critical brain development period (age 2-6).
She enjoys taking care of her own child and family.
