Administrative Team
Courtney B. – Executive Director
Courtney joined RMA in 2022. Courtney has been in education her entire career. She has been in school administration since 2010 and has worked with both charter and traditional schools in the K-8 level. Courtney has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, Masters in Elementary Ed, and is working on her second Masters Special Education. Courtney also has a Colorado Principal License.
Courtney lives in Centennial with her husband and their daughter is in college.
Sonali M. – Assistant Director
Sonali joined RMA in 2013. She has taught in a Montessori classroom environment since 2009. She completed her Montessori certification in Dallas, Texas from the American Montessori Society (AMS) in 2011. She has a Masters’s Degree in Home Economics from India. Ms. Sonali undertook some advanced Math courses to pursue her teaching credentials in California from California State University. Having found her home in the Montessori classroom, she enjoys her work with children from 3-6 years of age. Sonali is a firm believer of the Montessori philosophy and has seen it work with her own two kids.
Sonali lives in Parker with her husband and kids.
Teaching Team
Ariela G. – Lead Teacher – Elementary
Ariela joined RMA in 2022. She has been an Elementary lead Guide since 2019, and is happy to be part of the RMA community. Her mission is to provide a safe, positive, caring environment allowing each child to discover themselves—fostering a love of learning, community building, and cooperation.
Ariela was born in Mexico City but moved to Colorado in 2019 with her husband and two children. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and a certification as an elementary guide from the International Montessori Association, AMI. She also has a diploma in Mindfulness for education.
Ariela likes outdoor activities, especially skiing and hiking in the mountains. She enjoys spending time with her family, meditating, and playing soccer and basketball.
Andrea W. – Lead Teacher – Red Room
Andrea joined RMA in 2000 and was one of our original kindergarten teachers as RMA expanded to full mixed-age Primary classrooms. She returned to RMA in 2013 after a six-year hiatus when her family lived in the San Francisco area. Andrea has a B.A. in Elementary Education with a specialization in Kindergarten education from Purdue University in Lafayette, IN. She attended the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies and earned her Montessori certification. She has taught in elementary school and K-2 classrooms.
She lives with her husband and one of her children, while the other is in college. Both children are RMA alumni.
Dhara P. – Lead Teacher – Yellow Room
Dhara joined RMA in 2018. Dhara was born in Ahmedabad, India. Her maternal family is largely from a teaching background. She completed her master’s degree in commerce with accounting as a primary subject. Before moving to the states in 2008, she was an accountant for three years and a junior kindergarten teacher for a year and a half. After coming to the states, she took a break to take care of her kids, who attended RMA. In 2018 Dhara decided to come back to teaching since she loves working with kids and helping them succeed. In 2019, Dhara completed her CDA and is now certified as a Colorado Early Childhood Teacher. Dhara finished her training to become an AMI Montessori Primary Teacher at Great Work Inc, under the direction of Teng-Chien Yu in 2022.
When not at work, Dhara enjoys spending time with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters. She loves singing, listening to music., and cooking during her free time.
Lindsey H. – Lead Teacher – Studio and Specials
Lindsey joined RMA in 2022, moving to Colorado from the northeast. Here she teaches studio for the Primary students and then specials for the Elementary. Concurrently, she is working toward her Elementary (6-12) AMI certification here at the Denver Montessori Institute. She has her BA in English literature from Colby College, her MA in American Studies/Literature from a German university, and her Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate from UC Berkeley. Previously, Lindsey taught high school math in Vermont, PE and afterschool for K-6 at a Montessori school in Boston, and most recently, math and reading intervention at a public middle school for grades 5-8 in New Hampshire.
Lindsey is excited to further her work within and deepen her understanding of Montessori pedagogy!
Priyanka P. – Assistant Teacher – Red Room
Priyanka joined RMA in 2017. She has a strong passion for being around young children. She enjoys having the opportunity to be part of the early childhood learning process and believes that the RMA philosophy is a good foundation for success. In 2019 she completed her CDA training and is Colorado Early Childhood Lead Teacher Certified.
Ms. Priyanka moved to the U.S. from India after her marriage and has been in Colorado since December of 2000. She currently lives in Parker with her husband and two children. Her youngest child is an RMA alumnus.
Shoeba R. – Assistant Teacher – Red Room
Shoeba joined RMA in 2021. She is from India. Shoeba has a Masters degree in English Literature. She also have a certificate in Software Programming and Network Computing. Before joining RMA, she was working with Pre-Kindergarteners and Montessori Elementary children. Shoeba loves to spend time with the kids and teach them new things. Shoeba has worked in the RMA elementary classroom and is currently working with Red Room team.
In her free time, Shoeba loves to spend time with her two kiddos and her husband.
Jordon M. – Assistant Teacher – Blue Room
Jordon joined RMA as a student teacher in the elementary classroom in 2020. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education with a License to teach children from birth through 9 years old. Jordon has worked with children since she was in high school, and loves it!
Jordon is a Colorado native, so of course loves the outdoors! You’ll find her on nice days at a lake or camping.
Bansari T. – Assistant Teacher – Yellow Room
Bansari joined RMA in 2020 as an Assistant Teacher in the After School program. She then worked with all of our classrooms as a floater. In 2022 she joined the Yellow Room Team. Bansari has completed her Master’s in Computer Applications and worked as Software Engineer for 4 years in India. Being a mother of a young child, she researched child learning methods and developmental needs in a Montessori way before joining the school as an assistant teacher.
After joining this school and working with children, she strongly feels that Montessori is the best way to open a child’s learning capacity and increase their skills in this early critical brain development period (age 2-6).
She enjoys taking care of her own child and family.
Lauren O. – Assistant Teacher – Studio
Lauren joined RMA in 2019- where she has taken on many roles. In 2022 she joined the Yellow Room Team! Lauren has worked in the education field since 2001. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education, an Elementary Education license, and is Director Qualified. Lauren has worked with ages ranging from 2 up to 13 years old! Teaching is truly her passion and she loves what she does!
Laure is a mom to a beautiful young daughter and little puppy! When not teaching, Lauren is gardening, playing outdoors, and skiing with her daughter! She looks forward to working with your child.
Neha K. – Assisting Teacher
Neha joined RMA in 2022. In 2019, Neha moved to Colorado from Arkansas. In Arkansas, Neha was working in the Little Rock School District as Pre – Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. Also in Colorado, she was working in a child care center as a Preschool and pre-kindergarten Assistant Teacher. Before joining RMA, she was working in a Montessori school. Neha completed her bachelor’s degree in India. She completed her PPA, EQIT, and CDA.
Neha lives in Parker with her family. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, watching TV, and spending time with her family.
