Jacquelyn G. – Executive Director/Head of School
Jacquelyn “Jackie” has worked in Montessori for over 15 years. She has worked with students and families from prenatal education through Elementary. Jacquelyn has her AMI Montessori certificate in Assistants to Infancy (0 to 3 education) from The Montessori Institute in Denver, BA in Statistics and Mathematics from Rutgers University, Rutgers College, and M.Ed. in Education, specializing in Montessori Education, from Xavier University. She has taught in Nido, Toddler, Primary, and Elementary classrooms, consulted in classrooms of all ages, managed Montessori schools worked as a mentor for new teachers and assistants and created Parent and Teacher Education workshops on a variety of topics. She has worked in Montessori schools and at Montessori training centers around the country.
Jacquelyn has done research in Montessori and early childhood education and plans to continue and expand her work. She is currently an active Board Member for the Colorado Montessori Association and enjoys supporting Montessori initiatives. Jacquelyn spends time in the summer working with The Montessori Institute in Denver and expanding Montessori education for all.
Jacquelyn has been living in the Parker area for the last 11 years. She enjoys many of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer including camping, hiking, and snowshoeing.
Tina B. – Assistant Director
Tina graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. She worked in marketing and design until her children began attending preschool. While enjoying classroom volunteer work, she observed many benefits young students were receiving from quality early childhood programming. Tina decided that she wanted to work in the field of education. She returned to college at Northern Arizona University earning a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Committed to continuous learning and research, Tina will begin the Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) online program at Harvard University in July. She spends her free time snowboarding, hiking and exploring beautiful Colorado with her husband, daughter and son.
Andrea W. – Montessori Teacher – Red Room
Ms. Andrea has been a part of the RMA family since October of 2000 and was one of our original kindergarten teachers. She returned to us in 2013 after a six-year hiatus in which her family lived in the San Francisco area. She is currently teaching in the Red classroom as well as with our aftercare program. Andrea’s background includes a B.A. in Elementary Education with a specialization in Kindergarten education from Purdue University in Lafayette, IN. She attended the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies and earned her Montessori certification. She has taught in elementary school, K-2 classrooms.
She lives with her husband and two children, both RMA alumni.
Sonali M. – Montessori Teacher – Yellow Room
Ms. Sonali has been with the RMA family since 2013. She has been teaching in a Montessori classroom environment since 2009. She completed her Montessori certification in Dallas, Texas from the American Montessori Society ( AMS) in 2011. She has a Masters Degree in Home Economics from India. Ms. Sonali undertook some advanced Math courses to pursue her teaching credentials in California from California State University. Having found her home in Montessori classroom, she enjoys her work with children from 3-6 years of age. Ms. Sonali is a firm believer of the Montessori philosophy and has seen it work with her own two kids. Currently, she lives in Parker with her husband and kids.
Kris P. – Studio Teacher
Kris Palit has had the privilege of being a part of Renaissance Montessori Academy since 2017. After spending six years in another Montessori school, she is finally able to work with what she is really passionate about, creativity.
As a studio teacher, she helps foster young minds to think in innovative ways. Kris has been involved with children’s art for more than 25 years, and has seen that art helps children learn better in all disciplines.
Kris’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in geography from the University of Calcutta and Montessori training.
Kris was born and raised in Kolkata, India and came to United States in 1995. She currently lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband and their pet dog Sparky, while their daughter attends college in California.
Priyanka P. – Teaching Assistant
Ms.Priyanka comes to the RMA family with a strong passion for being around young children. She enjoys having the opportunity to be part of the early childhood learning process and believes that the RMA philosophy is a good foundation for success. Ms. Priyanka came from India after her marriage and has been in Colorado since December of 2000. She currently lives in Parker with her husband Dev Purohit and two children: Abhay (a former RMA alumni) and Ayush.

Zanna G. – Teaching Assistant
Zanna has been an educator for over ten years, working in both Denver and Aurora Public Schools, as and fourth and fifth grade teacher. She holds a masters’ degree in elementary education, along with undergraduate degrees in Communication, and Theatre Arts.
In addition to her passion in working with children, a true interest in the Montessori philosophy/curriculum, brought her to Renaissance Montessori.
Zanna has lived in Colorado for 17 years, but spent her childhood in the northeast, and overseas. She lives in Aurora with her husband and nine year old son. Zanna enjoys cooking, hiking, travel, and reading a good mystery book, in her free time.
Zanna is excited to work with all of the children at Renaissance Montessori every day!

Corinna B. – Administrative Assistant
Ms. Corinna has been a part of the RMA family since 1998. When she first started with RMA she was the Administrative Assistant and classroom helper. She recently returned to us in 2017 to support the ongoing success of our school. She is excited to be back as part of the RMA family. Her daughter attended RMA for 3 years and she attributes much of her success to Montessori.
